Hi and welcome to North Hammington model railway built and owned by Steven I've been into model railways since an early age and it first started when my brother received a Hornby train set one Christmas we set it up then watched the train go around for a bit then packed it away as the years went on it got sold,then about six years ago I bought a Hornby train set which was a Intercity 225 then I thought it would be cool to have a layout to run my trains on.
I wasn't going to wait till I was alot older but we didn't either have the room to have one so it got put off till the space needed came avaliable which it did when my sister and brother left home,and my dream came true that my layout became a reality but it started off with a 6x4 layout but I couldn't get what I wanted on it so I made some more section and it grew to 10x8 and then North Hammington model railway was born.
But that layout got dismantled due to me moving rooms and a new layout was born at 14ftx7ft5" but sadly that layout got dismantled as my sister came home to stay,so my layout was stored for a few months in my bedroom till I decided with my parents permisson to move it into the loft and thats where it is now and measures 21ft x 6ft 5".
As it is in it's early stages you will see it grow in to a fully working layout it is mostly based on diesel and electric trains with a few steam trains passing through.I hope you enjoy my model railway fotopic site and will come back to see updates of the layout,if you have any question or would like info on the layout please leave a message in the box below.Thanks steven |

THIS IS A COLLECTION OF PHOTOS OF MY SECOND LAYOUT I TRIED TO BUILD BUT GOT DISMANTLED DUE TO MY SISTER COMING HOME,IT WAS STORED IN MY BEDROOM TILL I DECIDED TO MOVE IT TO THE LOFT TO DESIGN AND BUILD A NEW LAYOUT SO CHECK OUT THE NEW COLLECTION ABOVE.

IF YOU HAVE ENJOYED WATCHING ME BUILD MY FIRST LAYOUT, BUT DUE TO MY ROOM I SLEEP IN BEING TO SMALL FOR THE STUFF I HAVE IN THERE SO MY LAYOUT WILL BE DISMANTLED AND THE 2 6X4 BASEBOARDS WILL BE USED FOR NEW LAYOUT AND MOVED INTO THAT ROOM. BUT THE ROOM IS BIGGER FOR MY LAYOUT AT 14FT X 7FT 5" X 6 FT SO I HOPE YOU WILL CHECK THE PROGRESS OF THE NEW LAYOUT WHICH WILL BE STARTED SOON ,IT IS A SHAME THE OLD LAYOUT HAS TO BE DISMANTLED BUT MY NEW LAYOUT WILL BE EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE.
